Buoy Conditions

Live offshore observations from NDBC stations.

Offshore Buoy Conditions

Live observations straight from NOAA's National Data Buoy Center — real instruments in the Gulf, updated about every 30 minutes. The nearshore buoy is the better read for an inshore or near-coast trip; the bluewater buoy reflects the open Gulf where the offshore fleet runs.

Nearshore West — Orange Beach (NDBC 42012)

Closest moored buoy to the Emerald Coast with wave and water-temp sensors; the better read for Destin and Fort Walton Beach.

Coastal East — Panama City Beach (NDBC PCBF1)

Coastal station on the east side of the coverage area — wind, pressure, and temps. It's a shore station, so wave height may read offline.

Bluewater — Pensacola Offshore (NDBC 42039)

Deep-Gulf station ~115 nm out — the offshore read for bluewater runs.
